Privacy policy

This policy covers the Faci Labs websites (facilabs.com and its subdomains, such as icontinker.facilabs.com) and Faci Labs software. It is run by Faci Labs. Contact: support@facilabs.com.

In short: we collect as little as we can. No ads, no analytics, no tracking.

Our websites

• The sites use no cookies, no analytics and no tracking scripts.
• They are hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles the technical data every request carries, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver pages and protect against attacks.

Buying a license

• Website and Microsoft Store edition licenses are sold by Lemon Squeezy (Link, LLC) as merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy collects your name, email address, billing country and payment details under its own privacy policy.
• We receive your order details from Lemon Squeezy (name, email address, country, product, license key and order status), not your card details. We use them to deliver and support your license, handle refunds, and keep records the law requires.
• Steam purchases are handled by Valve under its own privacy policy. We see only what Steam shares with developers.

In the software (IconTinker)

• Your icons and settings stay on your PC. We don't receive your files, icons, folder names or settings.
• License activation (website and Microsoft Store editions): when you activate, the app sends your license key and an activation identifier for that PC to Lemon Squeezy. It re-checks the key about once a week while online. Deactivating sends the same identifier to free the activation.
• Update check (website edition only): the app downloads a small version file from our server, about once a week. You can turn this off on the Settings page. Like any web request, our server sees your IP address; we don't use it to identify you.
• Steam edition: Steam handles updates and checks the Pro DLC. Microsoft Store edition: the Store handles downloads and updates.
• The software contains no ads and no analytics.

Email

When you write to support@facilabs.com, we keep your messages so we can answer and help later. Mail is forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing, stored in Google Gmail, and our replies are sent through Brevo.

Sharing

We don't sell or rent personal data. We share it only with the services named above, to the extent they need it, or when the law requires.

How long we keep data

Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Support emails are kept while they are useful for helping you, and deleted on request unless the law requires us to keep them.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email support@facilabs.com. For data held by Lemon Squeezy, Valve or Microsoft, you can also contact them directly.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes too.
